Walpole - Valley of the Giants 8/12/2010

the scenic drive to the giants
a glimpse of the ocean near Walpole
we stop to look at the forest
A hollow Karri Tree
they are getting bigger
looks like it wants to swallow
this one has a face
This one has caught me.
you could park a 4WD in that one.
they are not dead
just burned out on the inside
the outer part is growing and is well
 Then there is the tree top walk
 looking down
 little gems on the forest floor
