Leichhart Falls
From Gregory Junction the road leads up to Burketown. Nice Barra and chips at the caravan park. The road carries on to Leichhart falls. Our stay for the night. The view from the camp to the fall. Lawn Hill
Adels Grove We just made a day trip to this area. Entering the Lawn Hills area The road into Lawn Hill Gorge There goes the kayak again. The lower part of the gorge. relaxing paddle upstream That one is not shy and is used to tourists passing by. A bunch of palms on the bank along the cliff we have to drag the kayak around the waterfall. the upper section of the gorge reflection near the top end that is as far as we can go. lush vegetation along the way how good? and back at our camp at Gregory Downs
The Wills Developmental road
This is one of the main highways! Single lane of bitumen. Road trains travel on this road, stay alert. Narrow bridges are common. I hope there is no road train comming. The super highway. The road house at Burke and Wills Junction. Water at Gregory Downs That looks like a good spot for a free camp. Plenty of room for a few travelers. Nice fresh flowing water . we stay here for free. A black kite settles near the stream. Kayaking upstream at Gregory Downs. Going down the rapid. The stream in front of the caravan. An Australian Bustard Now that is dirt and dust. The road out to Lawn Hill. A highway with road trains on it.
