Cape Leeuwin and the south western tip

The day starts with a trip to the west coast
a rugged coast and the weather is unstable
We visit Xanadu estate
interesting colour, must be living on red wine!

next day down to the southern ocean for a day trip
The Pacific Gull
a big bird like the NZ Black back Gull
except it has a red tipped bill.
we take the scenic route to Cape Leeuwin
the tallest Lighthouse on Australias mainland
sometimes you need to climb up a bit

the desert meets the ocean
rugged
then there is the waterwheel, needing some maintenance.

nice beach and interesting clouds
on the caves road is the big Karri forrest

there is no water flowing into the ocean due to the dry season
